nami.space / about

I’m an Osaka native living in the high desert of Santa Fe, New Mexico. By day I’m a Woo support engineer at Automattic, where I untangle the weird and wonderful problems that come with running a store on WooCommerce. By night, I write, build things I probably shouldn’t be building, and plan trips with an unreasonable level of detail (or not).

This is where I put the things that don’t fit in anywhere else. Essays about self-hosting my own infrastructure as a non-developer. Thoughts on working in support, building with AI, and what it means to be a generalist who keeps accidentally specializing.

I was always scared of expressing opinions because I know my thoughts change so quickly that I want to be true to the present me. This is my journey to overcome my own fear of accepting who I am.
